Lisa Weitzel, IOM, CAE
Lisa serves as the President & CEO of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (IACCE), supporting and educating chamber of commerce professionals since January 2013. Lisa initially joined IACCE as its Communications Director in May 2011, serving concurrently as the Communications Manager for the Illinois Chamber of Commerce through February of 2014.
Lisa is also on faculty for the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management specializing in governance and ethics.

Best way to end the day:
I love to curl up with a hot cup of tea (which is the same way I start the day!) with Chester the Pug snuggled up against me while I read the latest (fiction) bestseller.
Favorite season:
Springtime; seeing crocuses and daffodils blooming while it’s still cold out, seeing the tiny green buds in our trees and then filling my home with fragrant pink blooms from my peony bush blooms with fragrant pink flowers makes my heart happy.
Dream job:
In my perfect world, I’d own a bookstore with a cafe that served baked goods, coffee & tea. Chester would “work” with me along with an orange tabby cat or two.
